Please join us for bible study every Tuesday led by E.J. Luster as she passionately proclaims and teaches the word. We will learn how God wants us to live as we submit to the Holy Spirit by following Christ's example through difficult times using the Bible, God's holy word as our guide.

Senior choir
The Parks Chapel A.M.E. church senior choir is musically gifted and talented. They use their talents to glorify God and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Music as a part of worship service is a strong part of the history of the A.M.E. Church. The A.M.E. and A.M.E.Z. churches were the first to publish their own hymnals rather than using those of the white denominations. The black Episcopalians were the first to introduce the trained choir in the worship services. Parks Chapel A.M.E. Church passionately believes in the traditions and history of Christian Education as a means to develop young adult members into positive Christian leaders. Please join us for Sunday school and youth Sunday to experience God’s presence through spiritual and personal growth.

Responsibilities of the Local Society
To accomplish the mission and purpose of the WMS, the Local Society shall commit to:
- WITNESS - Participate in the ministry of the organization beyond its congregation, know its community and partner with agencies to provide needed service to the community;
- ADVOCATE - Urge change in systems and structures which exclude and alienate, and work for peace and justice in the community;
- MEMBERSHIP - Encourage, recruit, affirm and motivate non-member women, of all ages, to participate in its Unit, providing an Intergeneration of caring women;
- EDUCATE - Provide opportunities for worship and study;
- STEWARDSHIP - Support financially the total program of the WMS.
